Chapter 3 New school

It's morning already, Crystal got up from her bed,had her bath and started to do her house chores.

Her mother woke up to see her already awake and she smiled.

"Mum you're awake"Crystal said when she noticed mother's present.

"Yes darling"

"Good morning Mom"Crystal greeted as she gave her mom a warm hug.

She pulled away from the hug immediately she heard the door bell rang.

"I will go check who's at the door"Mrs damila said as she went to open the door."Mrs Daniel Sophia, please come in"She said as she stepped out and let them come in before locking the door.

"Here have it"Mrs Daniel said as she gave an envelope to Mrs damila.

"Crystal"Liliana called as she went to where Crystal was smiling.

"Crystal"Mrs damila screamed from the sitting and Crystal quickly rushed to her.

"Mum,what's it?"Crystal asked surprised because she haven't seen her mom screamed so loud this way.

"You just got a scholarship into the mom popular high school"Mrs damila said happily."I have always wished of you to go there to fulfill ur dreams"she said.

"What?"Crystal questioned.

"Are you not happy about it?"Liliana asked.

"Why wouldn't she be happy,it's every girls dream to go there"Mrs Daniel said.

"But.."Crystal stammered.

"Crystal no need protesting,you're going to go to that school,you should be happy this is a better opportunity to finish high school in a better place"Mrs damila said happily.

Crystal walked to her room while Liliana followed her from behind.

Her mom and Liliana's mom has already engaged themselves into a discussion.

"Why ain't you happy about it?"Liliana asked.

"I am"she replied."But"Crystal paused.

"But what?"Liliana asked.

"What about you?"Crystal asked sadly.

"I was also given a scholarship too in another school,am a artist you know"Liliana said sadly

"Why me?"she asked."I just don't want to go to that high school"Crystal said sadly.

"Why?"Liliana asked.

"It's full of rich and famous people but am just"Crystal said and brushes into tears.

"C'mon Crystal it's not ur fault stop crying,it really hurts to see you cry"Liliana said sadly."Crystal don't care about who you're what matters is what you're gonna be tommorow"she advised.

"Thanks Liliana"Crystal said forcing a smile.

"Welcome"Liliana replied.

"But what if nobody loves me just because am poor"Crystal cried.

"Stop crying Crystal"she said."There is only one love that matters in this life and that's ur mother's love, don't care about them, their love doesn't matter,care about ur mom who wants the best for you"Liliana said.

"Yes"Crystal said as she cleaned the tears in her eyes knowing fully well that Liliana is right.

"Crystal I know as someone who fights fit her right and I want you to fight for ur dreams and never give up"Liliana said cheering her up.

"Thanks Liliana you're more than a friend to me"Crystal said as she hugged her."you just made me more stronger Lily"she said smiling.

"Promise me you won't give up on ur dreams, no matter what"Liliana said bringing out her pinky finger.

"I promise"Crystal said and they both crossed their pinky finger,with a huge smile on her face.

"That's why I call you my sis"Liliana said as they both giggled.

In the masion, Chris was seen with his parents in their big sitting room,they sat on the couch as the guard dragged the bags to the car.

"Dad you mean you and Mom will be traveling to Chicago?"Chris asked smiling.

"Yeah,we just wanna make sure ur brother is okay out there"Mr Clark replied.

"Brother?"Chris questioned.

"Yes Chris,we just want to see how he's doing,then I'll travel back to England"Mrs Clark replied.

"Okay"Chris chuckled.

"You're not a kid anymore Chris"Mr Clark said smiling as the guard came in.

"Sir,ma,the car is already loaded"The guard said.

"Okay"He replied as the guard dismissed."So Chris I'll be leaving son,and don't give up"Mr Clark said as they stood up to leave.

"Bye Chris dearies,we love you and we're gonna miss you"Mrs Clark said as she gave Chris a peck in the cheek.

"Mom would you stop worrying about me"He asked."Am gonna be fine"Chris said.

"Okay chris,but we love you"Mrs Clark said before they dismissed.

Chris went back to the sitting room and sat in the coach as he closed his eyes.
