Chapter 4 Danced with him freely

~Mia's POV~

Finally we both agreed upon a peachish beige knee length dress. It was a shimmery party dress and wasn't too see-through so I agreed. I tried it on and Ellie's mouth went a gap. "Close your mouth or a fly might enter in" I said as and she closed it as she realized that her mouth was open in shock. "You look AMAZING!" she shouted blowing up my ear drums. "Okay now I am going to change back to my comfies" I changed into my house wear and placed the dress in my wardrobe.

We talked for a while and then she told me about the accident that happened with her earlier that she meet a boy and he was the reason she got late. She had sprained her ankle so I gave her an antiseptic tube. At sharp 6 p.m. she left for her home as she got a call from her mom. Oscar was up already and we both had a family evening tea. He was becoming smarter day by day and I was becoming mature because I had to take care of my younger brother in every way possible. We slept early so that we don't get late for school tomorrow.

I woke up at 6:00 a.m. and did my usual morning chores and took a bath. At 6:15 a.m. I tried waking up Oscar. He woke up in an instant and I helped him do his morning routine. As usual he said he would bath by himself but I refused him saying some other time.

I went to school and met with Ellie. She said she would take me to her house and would get me ready for the party. She was also invited to the party because of Tyler. He was a good guy and Ellie said he was a friend but God knows. We both went to her house after picking up Oscar from kindergarten and my dress from my home. We both changed into our dresses and Ellie started to do my makeup. I had no pimples on my skin and my skin was all clean and so she just applied moisturizer. She did a glam and curled my hair. I just pinned to sides of my hair in a puff and left my hair blonde hair freely on my shoulders with some of the strands dancing on my cheeks.

She paired up glass heels with my dress and I finally looked at myself in the mirror. I looked so different. Not like how I usually look. Oscar's mouth went gap after seeing me. After that Ellie's driver drove us to their mansion.

We finally reached there and oh my! Look at the house, it was like a palace. We finally stepped into the mansion and we saw Max's mother. She greeted us with a genuine and polite smile. "Thanks for coming Mia. I hope you enjoy the evening" she said and turned to greet rest of her guests. "Mia, I have to go." Ellie whispered. "But where?" she stopped and whispered. "Look, Tyler is looking for me I have to go bye" she said and walked towards a guy. He was standing there with girls all around him and the girls weren't just standing; they were clinging over to him.

~Ellie's POV~

"Ahem ahem! Umm....excuse me" I asked the girls but they just looked at me with a disgusted look. "Who is she babe?" the unknown girl standing beside him asked. "Yeah and why is he asking us to excuse you?" Tyler looked at me and then at the girls. He jerked away their hands and stood beside me. "She is my girlfriend" he addressed me as his girlfriend. "But you said you were single and we could make a_.." he cut them off by clearing his throat. "No, I am not single, look can't you see this girl standing right beside me" he said pointing towards me. The girls were furious and looked like they would burst into tears but instead they just stormed there feet on ground and turned on their heels to leave. "You look hot in this dress" he complimented but I just blushed. The he took me to the dance floor and we danced forgetting about the world.

~Mia's POV~

I just stood near the bar. Oscar was with Max and he was enjoying a lot. Everyone was dancing with their partners; even Ellie was dancing with that Tyler. I was standing their lost in my thoughts when I saw a boy approaching me. "Hey young lady would you like to dance?" he forwarded his hand and was asking for dance. I knew him. His name was Klaus Devoir and was a year senior then me in college. Before I could reply to him he dragged me towards the dance floor and started dancing with me. I didn't even dance with him for compete 5 minutes when someone pushed Klaus and grabbed me by waist pulling me towards him.

WHAT! No, this can't happen. "Why were you dancing with Klaus? You know he is a play boy" I heard his dominant voice. "No I a-m" I was stuttering. I couldn't form a sentence. I still couldn't believe my eyes. Why would Ethan Davies, the most eligible bachelor of our college would dance with me, who am I? He danced with me as I forgot everything and danced with him freely.
