Chapter 7 Enemies to Sort of Friends.

We both enter the doctor's cabin carrying Oscar.

Oscar is still mewling in Shawn's arms.

We asked for the doctor and ask him to behave towards Oscar.

"Hello Doctor," I greet him with unbearable pain breaking through my chest.

"what is wrong with him?" The doctor asked patiently complete opposite of what I was feeling.

"He got hit off by a car. But I forced the brakes before it was too late." Sean replied curtly.

"Oh.... OK, you both please wait outside we will inform you when to come in. I'll check him out and inform you very soon. Pray for his health." Doctor said with it most professionalism.

"Thank you doctor. Sure." I responded to the doctor.

We started to walk out of the doctors cabin.

We both left the doctor's cabin and waited outside on the bench at the clinic.

I was growing impatient by the minute I was really scared of what might happen to him. How did I let this happen to the poor soul? I am never going to forgive my self if anything ever happens to him.

"Do not blame your self, It was my fault and I am sorry." He said with remorse full of expression.

I frowned at him.

"You did not apologize when you hit me with your car, but you are apologizing for the dog. Some thing might have gone really wrong today." I say, trying to lighten the mood as both of us were really tensed.

"Well, I did not hurt you but, I had hurt Oscar today. I can and will apologize when it is my fault." He said with a smirk of his that suits him so well.

Surprisingly, Sean had the same expression on his face as if he can't stand thought of hurting the innocent animal, which I know is not true as He didn't mind Hurting me earlier.

After one and a half hours the doctor came out of his cabin. After check on Oscar.

I ran towards the doctor and said to him, "Please give me a good news. Doctor. How is Oscar?" I said with a rushed tone.

Sean got up as well and asked, " how is he doing, Doctor?"

The doctor replied. "He's fine, he was run off the road, so his a bit hurt. But don't worry, he will be fine. He was hit on the chest. And that's why he has a bruise on his chest. But don't you guys very. He shall be fine very soon. We're just keeping him here overnight for supervising his health in case he needs anything. If you don't mind."

"Of course not. Doctor. Please supervise him for as long as you want. Just he has to be fine and in shape." Sean gave answer to the doctor immediately.

"OK then." The doctor did back.

We walked out the hospital.

And I informed Oscars owners about this issue. They were very caring and understanding about the situation and they were visiting Oscar right now and were on their way to the hospital.

I called Sam as well to check on him. He is staying with my neighbors for a couple days for as long as I am here. We talk at least three times in a day. So, I called him and talked to him.

Sean was walking with me still and I wondered why did not he return in his car. Then, I suppose he had to talk to me about some thing maybe.

Sean and I walked through the park and we reached the pavement.

After a long pause, I said

"I saw the car coming towards Oscar but I got in too scared state from fear, I should have react in a way that would have saved Oscar from getting hit but I froze."

He looked at me intently and then after a brief pause, he said.

"And I was not in my senses. I'm not usually this ir responsible as a person really, though, and I was driving for a really long time. You will never believe this as I have already stomped on you other times already. We really have to stop meeting like this, Don't you think?" he said with a smile, laugh.

I Laughed at that too.

"Yeah, I thought you have some secret agenda against me." I said with a laugh.

"You? No...., no, I don't have any such agendas. It was just bad circumstances under which we met. under really rigorous occurrences. I really wish they were different."

And I stalled my breath for a moment and we both started at each other then we broke our eye contact hastily, as if remembering where we are and our situations.

"You said you were driving for a long time. Where did you drove from?" I asked him merely to fill in the silence.

"Well, I went to the mountains on the. South. I just went anywhere and everywhere my car could possibly go. Trust me, normally I'm very attentive.. It was just a bad day, so it just happened."

"It's OK, no problem. Sometimes it just happens, things overlap. It is all fate and destiny." I say with a smile.

I smiled at him and started at his handsome physique. His dark hairs, captivating eyes. He is too handsome for his own good.

"I know we met under clear bad circumstances. But I'm. Sean, and it's nice to meet you." He said to me politely and I could not believe that he could be so polite to me.

Heat rushed through my cheeks and I know they were burning pink, but I hid my secret grin and my laced my expression and instead I said.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Ava as you already know." I say shyly looking at any where but his eyes.

I raised my hand so that he could take it and shake it. And he did. His warm, hide and Encasing my little one.

"See you then Ava."

"See you again, Sean."

And we walked in different directions. Just like our lives. But then I remember something. And I asked.

"Hey Sean. Wait a second. I said with Lights shining in my. Head.

He turned and looked at me with a smile and came back to me. Damn.... A human should not look this good just by walking. It is not fair for the rest of the population.

"I give him a gift card. Off of. The hotel we're staying at. And said Make this bad day a good one. We can have a coffee together. As it is also, you're a pre marriage ceremony and you will probably be bored out of your mind. So if you come down in the fifth restaurant in the hotel. I'll be managing stuff there with him. We can grab a cup of coffee if you don't mind." I did to him unsure of how he would react.

"Sure, but I only drink it hard and strong." He said with a grin.

"Good for you. I'm sure we must have that. I'll bring it myself, particularly for you." I grinned back at him.

"Then OK, then I'll see you at night. See you, Goodbye, Ava."

I'm rushing like a mad woman all around the world as everyone has asked for me and I have lot of work to do. And on top of that, I had invited Sean, I don't know how even I'm going to catch a breath. Much less grab a coffee.

I finished last of my work before giving the entrée dishes to Shawn's mom.

Just to taste it before the wedding mouse so that you can approve of the stuff. After all, it's her son's wedding. She must have the some wishes of her own .

"Here you go Ma'am, here is the entree." I said to her sweetly. Well, at least as sweet as I could, but she was quiet up tight.

She seemed angry about something all the time and was really arrogant, but let's just say just like her son. But maybe she has a soft side to herself as well. Again, just like his son.

"Well, you just got this one plate." She said really up tightly. And I looked at well as if am I supposed to know something that I don't.

"Well, was I supposed to get two? I didn't know that." I said with respect in my words so that I don't lose my shit on her 'cause I'm really tired right now.

"Well of course one for me and one for my husband so that you could bold decide what should go." She said again Very Privy about it.

I go to the kitchen to get another plate.

I Ask the chef to prepare another plate for For the queen herself. Huh... I am really really tired from all the work I have done today.

As the chef called the food ready, I went back into the dining hall with the plate in my hand and just as I was walking I collided end with. A hard body.

This day couldn't have gotten any better. I think to myself.

It's then only I realized that I also. Collided the plate I just bought with me on that man's. Shirt.

I'm done for. How am I suppose to manage a whole event management company when I can not eve manage my self? I am so damn clumsy, it is not even funny now.

This is really ironical, but the manner collided with is none other than Sean Dell himself.

Perfect, just perfect. Why do I have such unusual meetings with this man? Can't we just meet like normal people one time? One single time for God sake.
