Chapter 1 'I'

Amy's POV

"Amelia Harper , if you want to eat breakfast, wake up this instant ! " my mother shouted from downstairs.

It was still early, just 7 in the morning . Okay maybe it's not but it is .

It's the first day of my senior year . I'm excited but lazy at the same time .

Rolling up from the bed ,I stepped into the bathroom. Took a quick shower and slipped into some skinny ripped Jeans and a hoodie. My favorite comfortable outfit .

Grabbing my phone and bag I walked downstairs . The atmosphere was quite tense .

I knew it that mom's mood wasn't good enough . I saw my dad sitting on a dining chair peeling potatoes while wearing his uniform .

I couldn't help but laughed quietly. He saw me and put a finger on his mouth . Inkling me to be quiet . I slowly sat next to him .

"So what's the scene ? What did you do this time ??" I whispered loud enough to make him hear .

"I got a new video game for your sister ." He whispered back .

"Wow , it's a big one " I said sarcastically , smirking . I knew he was gonna be lectured 24/7 by mom now . It's gonna be for the whole month. They are usually like this .

My dad spoils my sister Beth (Bethany) by buying her video games and stuff . She is so much in all computers and games . I don't even remember when was the last time I saw her .

Though she is the eldest but dad treats her like the youngest one . This makes my mom angry . She is 24 and my mom wants her to find a suitable job or something and get settled .

"Hey lovely lady , good morning ." I go to the kitchen greeting my mom .

"Good morning , here eat up" she said , handling me breakfast .

" Darling ,can I get breakfast now . I'm getting late " my dad asked her with a hint of hesitation in his voice .

My mom gave him a pointed look and handed him a plate with just a half omelet . That was funny . He looked confused.

"Where's the other half ?" He asked her .

"You should be grateful I'm giving you this much . If you don't want it then give back." She said still mad .

"Okay guys carry on . I'm going to school . Love you both " I kissed them on cheeks and hurried out .

"Remember to come back on time ." My mom is still shouting from the kitchen .

Well walking down the street I came across my favorite cafe.

"Hey Olivia " I greeted her . She was the barista there . We were more like friends. I was their regular customer.

"Hey Amy , here is your usual café mocha " she said smiling widely .

"Thanks girl" I said going out . I was already late so I had to hurry up on my first day .

Ciara and Asher were waiting for me . I got 20 missed calls from them . They are my two stupid best friends.

Ciara is a cute girl and the fact that she does well in studies makes her popular.

Asher is idiot one yet so funny . He just cares about how he looks . He doesn't have any girlfriend but there's no pretty girl whom he hasn't confessed to.

Yeah he is weirdo. He can basically fall for anyone with pretty looks . We have been friends since kindergarten.

We are always together in everything except for study . I'm lazy and Asher lacks lots of brain so we don't do anything that harms our smart mind like study .

"Oh f*ck .."

"Oh my God no...no ..no " I whined on my dropped coffee on the ground .

"Hey kid are you okay " the man who hit me with the car came out and asked .

"Kid my foot , are you really blind ." I replied actually I shouted at him .

"I'm sorry . I didn't mean it . " he said . I was still looking at my sweet coffee which was now on the road . RIP my dear caffé mocha ,I'll miss you .

"Are you really okay?" he asked

"Uuuhhh why did you do that j*rk . It was the only best thing that happened to me all morning and you even snatched my happiest moment with my precious latte . You a**hole you are so dead now " I whined at my coffee looking to his face .

"Miss please you shouldn't use bad words . I'll pay for it . That's okay, right ?" He said taking money out of his wallet.

"Huh I don't want your f**king money you jerk . I will just sue you for what you did . "

"Miss you can't do that just because of a coffee " another jerk shouted from the crowd surrounding us .

"Do you know who my dad is ,huh? " I shouted back " he will surely beat your ass " I said to the car jerk . Then I realized I was going to school .

"You are lucky I'm letting you leave for now . But if I see you next time I'll rip your throat off , understood?" I said and started to run for school . Thank God I made it on time .

"Hey Amy , where were you ?" Ciara asked me standing against her locker .

"Well nothing much I got up late " I said looking for my books .

"Hey my girl you are finally here . I missed you " Asher from behind whined.

"Yeah whatever idiot "

We made it to class . There was still some time left . So I put my head down on the table in front of me .

My head was like it would explode anytime . It's just because of that car J*rk. I should have killed him.

"Hey Amy , you know Mrs. Beckley was replaced by a temporary music teacher . He will be our class teacher from now on ." Ciara told me turning around .

She was sitting in front of me while Asher was beside me , flirting with some random chick in our class.

"Why , what happened to her ?" I asked , my head still down .

"You don't remember she was pregnant " she said and I remembered suddenly of course she was .

"Oh yeah "

"So do you know the new teacher is dangerously handsome . Everyone is talking about him .I can't wait to see him " she said in an excited tone.

"Uh huh" I said .Then you know my lazy ass , fell asleep.

I woke up to someone shaking me ."what" I said in a sleepy tone.

"Wake up Amy, teacher is pointing at you " Asher whispered .

I opened my eyes and sat straight to face the new teacher . I jumped from my seat and stood up just as I saw him .
