Chapter 4 La Sangre Academy

After some days, Vacation lasted and it's time to start a new school year.

My clothes are all prepared including my school uniform and neccesities like soaps, toothbrush and many more. It's sunday night and it's time to go to 'La Sangre Academy'

"Ryza please take care of mom. Always remind her to eat on time" She nodded at me and told me that she will do her best to help my mother

Ryza is our newly hired maid to accompany my mom while I'm at school. I also told her to contact me every two days to report how's my mom doing. This way, I will be less concerned and will be able to focus on my real agenda at school.

"Stop worrying at me and take care of yourself okay?" I know my mom doesn't want me to go even though she already permitted me to. She wants to let me do whatever I want

She hugged me tightly and I raised my arms to hug her as well

"Mom I have to leave now. Cab is already here" I held my suitcase bag and prepared myself to leave

My mom once agaid bid her goodbye as I leave the front door of our house.

As soon as I got out, I saw a cab waiting so I immediately went inside the cab and told him my destination

The driver just nodded and started driving

And I, just picked my earphones and choosed a song to listen to while waiting for us to arrive to the academy. Unlike what happened to my father, the outside town is peaceful and colorful lights are everywhere.

If only dad didn't die. If only they never attacked us. Everything will be good.

We'll still live happily like before and our hearts will be filled with love but there's no helping it, my father already died on the hands of those cruel vampires and our family already shattered so what I need to do now is, avenge my dad.

I will never forgive them.

Minutes passed and we arrived at La Sangre Academy. I got off from the cab and walked toward the gate but a guard stopped me from going through so I looked at him saying 'why'

"We have to verify your identity first for safety measures. Please hand me your ID" The ID, school map along with the uniform was delivered to our house three days ago so there's no more complication as I hand the ID to them

They place it on a sensor and it turned green meaning, I am a legit student of this school. The guard apologized for the trouble but I didn't mind him and went on my way to find where I have to stay - Agujas dorm

The whole school are in modern designs so even if it is night and I can't see everything so well, I can't help but be amazed. My past schools were also good but not as much as this

I didn't had any trouble finding my way because it is just a few walk from the gate so I reached the dorm in a minute.

I first went to the dormitary's teacher assigned and she told me my room number and reminded me to be early tomorrow.

Room 18 Third Floor

I didn't waste anymore time inside her office which is also inside the dormitory and left to find where my room is. While walking along the hallway, I can see humans and vampires talking to each other with no worries like as if they are the same creature.

A lot of them looked at me but I didn't care.

It's not like being acquianted to them will do me any good so ignored their stares.

I used an elevator to reach the floor where my room is located at and ignored every stares I felt

After a few seconds, the elevator opened in the third floor so I got out and went to find my room in this floor.

When I found the exact room, I knocked carefully

'I hope my roommate is not a vampire'

and thank god, the one who opened it is a human meaning, my roommate is not a vampire. She looked at me head to toe and when she saw the suitcase bag I am carrying, she smiled.

"So you're my new roommate. Nice to meet you" I just nodded at her and plastered a small curve at my lips and went inside

There are two beds, two study table and two cabinet. The one on the right side is empty so I concluded that it's mine

Without saying a word, I organized my clothes on the cabinet.

"By the way I'm Lilia Santiago, fourth year" she said while I am organizing my things

"I'm Celine Gomez, fourth year too" I decided not to be rude since we'll be sharing a room for a year and I don't want an awkward atmosphere.

Being acquainted with someone won't be bad. If it's human of course.

She just nodded and stayed quiet as I arrange my things at the study table

I placed our family picture at the nightstand beside the bed and the small lamp that was gifted to me by mom before I go here.

This picture was taken after I had my celebration at my sweet sixteen. Dad was wearing his favourite tuxedo while mom was wearing a maroon dress making her look a little sophisticated and both of them are smiling widely like me in the picture.

I remember that time when dad gave a speech for me on my sweet sixteen. He said all of my embarassing moments and showed my ugly videos and pictures of mine infront of my friends. But what's more embarassing is my crush was there so I was really flustered that time but of course I was happy

Anyway, it was 9:56 when I finished arranging my things and I felt so tired and sleepy. But despite that, I forced mgself to go clean my body before sleeping.

I felt the cold water traveling through my body as water poured to me. I washed myself like how I usually do it and finished it as soon as possible

After taking a shower, I applied some skin care product on my face before lying on the bed.

What a long day. Tomorrow, the school year will officialy start and I have to work hard to find out why that man left a note to me
