Chapter 5

Zein's Point of View

I listened to our teacher and dismissed everything that bothered me. I would go crazy if I kept thinking about all that.

Noteworthy is an oversized wall clock in the center that our classmates have been looking at earlier. every minute that passes is darker and darker, I also feel the twitter around. Even our teacher can't teach very well because his gaze is fixed on it.

"6 o'clock." Mia whispered just looking there as well. we were out at 6:30 so 30 minutes before the exit and definitely 30 minutes after we exited Bloody Night.

I looked outside in the dark. What will happen next? Will there be bloodshed again?

It's scary to think that in the dark everything happens. who else will be affected by innocent people?

"I'm just CR." Goodbye.

Vanessa and Mia stared at me.

"You're really crazy! You know what's dangerous outside that bladder of yours is really what you're thinking!" Mia scolded me.

"Do you really want Zein to die? Just tell me ah ?I'll stab you myself! "Vanessa joked that she just stared at me.

I was gripped in my stomach

because I've been really urinating before and it's painful. There is nothing like cr here in the classroom.

"Join me Zein. Tara?" Matt held out his hand which I immediately accepted.

"Oh my gosh! It's up to you!" said Vanessa.

"Just be careful." Dave's note.

We just nodded before saying goodbye to our teacher.

"Hurry up. It's dangerous outside and don't let your curiosity get the better of you." He reminded us.

even though I was confused, I just nodded. Matt held my hand tightly, only the pole lights serving as our lights.

"You think Matt. Can we still get out of here ... alive?" I will ask.

"Shh. Don't talk like that. We can get out of here. Ok?" he was convincing me.

I entered the CR and left Matt outside to watch over me. I entered a cubicle.

Silence prevailed around and I could only hear drops of water. I felt a shiver so I hurried to urinate.

I almost ran to the door and no Matt opened it for me. The knee trembled as I looked around.

I heard crackles coming from around that doubled the fear I felt.

"M-Matt?" I call his name.

I covered my mouth when I saw people not far away. They are many.

I was already crying when Matt appeared in the dark sweating profusely. He tightened his grip on my hand and pulled me away from there.

"Matt. Where are you from?" I will ask.

he didn't answer me and I also noticed that he was looking around.

"Matt isn't here the way." I said because we went straight on the other side.

"6:40 Zein. I'm sure they're all in the dorm. And one more thing they're all around HU, we need to avoid them."

I wanted to ask who he was referring to but no voice came out of my mouth.

We walk with no sound being created. We hide in the dark where we cannot be seen. He was right, the people in black masks were scattered.

"We're safe until the bell rings-"

We were shocked to hear the bell threatening.

All my feathers rose when I realized it was a bloody night. Next thing a little bit slipped out of Matt's mouth and he held my hand tighter.

"Hold on Zein.I'll take care of you..."

Somehow the nervousness disappeared from my chest because of what Matt said. But still not enough to calm the trembling of my knees.

Matt pulled me to the back of the big trash can to hide because a battalion of masked men was coming, they were holding knives like before.

Now I see them more closely. their mask was only half of the face covered but enough for us not to recognize them. Their masks are black. Their nail necklace is also remarkable.

I covered my mouth. They! they are the member of the Black Blood Gang, like Nicky, because of their nail symbol.

They are frightening to look around as if someone is looking. I felt Matt squeeze my hand so I looked at him.

I smiled at him to say I was ok.

I also noticed that they were all heading in the same direction. If you count, they are all 25+.

Matt and I stood up with no BBG (Black Blood Gang) members left on the road.

Matt was about to pull me away when I removed his grip on my hand. he cut my forehead.

"You go first Matt, I'll just confirm something." I said while running on the road taken by the men.

I haven't gone far with more than my arm. "You'll be damned! When they see you, you can look like Rouge Silvenia or worse...zein, please. "I could feel the worry in the tone of his speech.

I couldn't help but feel guilty that I was worried about him. He would not have been here in this situation but he would have accompanied me.

"Sorry." The only thing came out of my mouth.

He stroked my hair before holding my hand. "We need to get back, as the night gets deeper and more dangerous." He said before I was pulled away from that place.

As we ran I knew someone was watching us. They're not just two or three because they seem to be in the shampoo.

"If you're looking for information Zein, I'm willing to give you everything I know. Just don't do again what you did before."

I can't help but wonder why Matt knows so much? Where did he gather the information? Who told him?

"Ahhh!" I stopped walking when Matt fell to the ground.

"Matt!" I knelt down in front of him to find out what was hurting him. I just now realized that there was a nail stuck in his leg.

"Are you okay ?! Matt! Can you still walk ?!" Remember my question.

I heard footsteps coming closer and closer to us as fear grew in me.

"My foot is numb. I can't walk anymore. Run Zein! Save yourself!" he shouted while holding onto her leg.

"No Matt! I won't leave you !It's all my fault! "

"Zein! Please! Go away! You'll be damned too!"

I wiped the tear from my cheek while shaking. My body trembled with worry and fear. But what I'm wondering is that it's just a nail, why does it have this effect?

I was gripped tightly by Matt's hand when I saw the black masked men approaching us.

"Zein you've run away!"

It was as if I was deaf and could not feel anything. I can't think straight as long as all I know is that I will never leave Matt here.
