Chapter 3 Who's The One

"Yes?" I replied as I was woken from my thoughts.

"Well we are here" he said.

"Oh! But where....where are we?" I asked as I was clueless where were we.

"Ah!" he said as he rested his head on the seat.

"Don't ask questions; just get down. And when you will get down, you will find it yourself that where are we" he added as he opened the door and got down.

"But.......?" I asked as I was puzzled; and till the time my mind was inquiring everything; that time was enough for Derin to go across the car and reach my door.

"Get down!" he ordered as he opened the door of my seat, to let my out.

"But......" I was interrupted in between.

"No if's and but's!" he said as his eyes warned me.

"Ah-....!" I exclaimed.

"Enough!" he said as he was announced. Their was no need telling me that I was annoying him; I could make that out from his voice.

There was a special thing about Derin getting annoyed. It was very difficult to make him get annoyed from anyone, but if any time; by chance, he gets announced then no one on this earth can predict that what will he do next. He totally became unpredictable.

"What are you up to?" I asked him as I realised that how annoyed he was.

"Well! Nothing much! But just a thing which is important right now!" he said as he gave me his intense looks.

And as he gave me those looks; he bent down and held my legs tight.

"What the fuck you think you are doing?!" I asked as I was thoughtless.

"Well; I just wanna say one think and that's Shut up!" he said as he held my waist and pulled me out of the jeep.

And there I was; in his arms, safe and sound. I was clueless about what was going on in his head because as a Capricorn I know how difficult it is to bring something out of him. He never spoke much about his feelings and neither did I. The funniest part was that we both were Capricorns but still; in all these years we found it was the most difficult task and it was to make each other talk about our feelings.

"What's going on in that pretty head?" I asked innocently; still held in his arms safe and sound.

"Well I will just give only one reply" he said as he looked straight in my eyes.

"And that is.....?" I asked as I started playing with his nose.

"Well that it shut up!" he said as he pulled his head away from me.

"Rudey!" I said and as I said I fickle with my feet. I started playing with them. I was moving them up and down one after another.

As I was behaving totally like a kid, Derin was constantly looking at me and smiling. But still he was walking.

After spending five to seven minutes in his arms, he kept me down.

"Why you kept me down?! I was having such a great time! Pick me up again!" I said; still behaving like a three year old.

"Well I kept you down because we reached where I wanted to bring you" he said in his soft and deep voice.

"Oh! Where you brought me?" I asked with a smile.

"Well turn and check it out yourself" he said as he kept his hands on my shoulder.

After he said he slowly turned me; and as my back faced him. He added,

"And this is the place."

As I saw the place I was stunned. It was the prettiest place I had ever see. It was a sunset point. But not any sunset point, there were mountains and above them was the setting sun. As it was setting it bathed the whole sky in it's dark orange and red light. The blue sky looked like a canvas to me; which was coloured by the sun. I could see, how beautifully the sun had coloured and decorated the mountains. The green grass was shining as if it wasn't grass, it was gold. It appeared as there was gold lying all around. Below this beautiful scene was flowing water. It was of blue colour but not just any blue colour it was dark blue and it had a shine on it. When the sun was setting, the water appeared to me as it was glass, it appeared as if a river of glass was flowing.

To me the proverb "all those glitters are not gold!" have been proven wrong. To me everything was gold. Every passing second, every moment was as precious as gold. Every moment meant to me.

And as a strong gush of wind passed; to me it felt like it touched my face and went. To me it felt like God was saying " Oh my dear Stacy, you have suffered a lot, you had sacrificed a lot in your life; I made you sacrifice your happiness many times, but now I give you back everything. Go! Live your life and just don't live it live every moment to it's fullest!"

"So what you think?" he asked as he whispered softly in my ear.

"It's breath taking! I am left speech less!" I replied.

"I am happy that you liked this place" he said as he gave me a tight back hug.

"How long you been looking for this place?" I asked as I brushed his cheek with my nose.

"Well, I wasn't looking for it! You know I was just driving around and I just by chance found it" he said as he huged me more tightly.

"I just want to listen to the truth, Derin."

"Well......" he paused in between.

"Derin!"

"Ah! K! Cool! But it's not a big deal."

"How long Derin?"

"Ah from the day you decided that you wanna move in with me."

"Ah! Seriously! Derin that was like a year ago! I mean you wasted a year behind this!"

"Well not a year."

"What do you mean?"

"You remember the day when we both were drunk and we were at your place?"

"Yeah I guess I remember that night."

"Yeah and then we were sitting on your couch and how we got to talking and all?"

"Hm."

"And then you told me that when you; when you were small you always had a fantasy world, and it was perfect. And how you except your future to be perfect and how you wanna see a place which is more than beautiful and all that stuff. So from that day I started looking for a place like that but I wasn't able to and the day you decided to move in with me I started looking around for a place like that and I found this place."

"Oh Derin I....I am speech less! I mean I was nineteen when I said as those things and that was like six years ago. I.....I don't believe it that you still remember all those things, it's kind of sweet" I said as I looked right in his eyes.

I was really happy to know how much he loves me. I could see that love in his eyes.

"Derin seriously; I mean it's really amazing that you still remember that" I said as I faced him.

"Well it's not a big deal; it's just I did a nice thing for you and that's it" I said as he looked in my eyes.

"You know, from this very moment I love you more."

"You don't need......" he paused in between as I stopped him.

"You don't even need to utter another word" I said as my nose got closer to his.

I then slowly started to brush my nose against his. I then slowly took my face near his left cheek and gave me a kiss. Then I raised myself to level our hight and as I was tall enough to reach his forehead I gave his a kiss there and then I brought myself back on my feet and then gave him a kiss on his right cheek.

"Oh I love you so much" I whispered softly as my nose gently touched his.

"I know; and do you know that I love you the most?" he asked as he touched his forehead with mine.

"I know" I said as I placed my hands on his shoulders and as I placed my hand; he tightened his grip on my waist.

And as I looked up at him I could see him standing with his eyes closed. And as I was looking at him he opened his eyes and as your eyes met I found myself lost in them. And then slowly your breath and then your lips. I could feel his tongue touching mine. I could actually tast him.

We both were in that moment, with each and not only with each other; we were lost in each other.

I could feel him grabbing me tightly and kissing me. It was the happiest day of my life. I actually saw how much this guy loved me and till what extend this guy was mad behind me.

And as I got back into the moment; I opened my eyes and I saw him kissing me with his eyes closed.

"Am I a bad kisser?" I asked as I finished our kiss.

"No. Not at all. But what made you think that?" he asked as he started playing with my nose.

"Well the point that your eyes were very tightly closed when you were kissing me" I replied as I gave him a smile.

"Well..." he paused in between.

"Why you close your eyes, every time you kiss me?" I asked as I crashed his forehead from mine.

"Well; that's a kind of a stupid question to ask" he replied as he raised his head up.

"I know it's stupid but still...." I said as I bent my head a bit towards my left.

"Ah! I guess it's best to leave some questions unanswered" he said as he leveled his head to mine.

"Hm! You sometimes make good points" I said as I nodded my head in affirmation; with the point that he too sometimes made good points.

"So you don't plan to go back home?" he asked as he gently touched his forehead to mine.

"I don't wanna go!" I replied in a kiddish tone.

"Why not?" he asked me in a very humble tone.

"Because those stupid people will again irritate the hell out of me! You know they will annoy me and then all my good mood will be ruined" I replied.

"Well you don't need to worry about them" he replied as he was consoling me.

"Why not?" I asked because as to me his reply felt pretty weird.

"Because, look at the time it's already seven thirty and till the time we will return the jeep and go back it will be nine and till that time all of them will go back; so you don't need to worry" he said as he raised his eyes.

"You serious, right?!" I asked as my face was lit up.

"Yeah! I am serious" he replied.

"Pinky swear?" I asked as I raised my hand up with my index and little figure out.

"Stacy you're such a kid!" he said as he started laughing out aloud.

"No! Tell me! Pinky swear or not?!" I asked as I held my hand up; strong and firm.

"Yeah! Yeah! Pinky swear!" he said as he touched my index and little figure with his; still smiling and trying hard to control his laughter.

"Ha ha ha! Derin not funny!" I shouted as I caught him red handed for smiling and laughing at my pinky swear theory.

"Yeah! Ok I won't laugh anymore I promise" he said.

"Ok I forgive you" I said as I gave him forgiveness.

"So let's go?" he asked.

"Yeah let's go!!" I replied as I started walking; jumping and dancing.

I knew; without any doubt, that behind me Derin must be laughing and smiling.

After five to six minutes of my jumping and dancing I reached our jeep and as I reached there I climbed it up and made myself comfortable on the seat, and as I settled myself I could see Derin coming from behind with a smile on his face.

"Come fast!" I shouted at him as I realised that how slowly he was walking.

"Coming!" he said and as he said he ran towards the jeep.

And as he reached near the driver seat, he climbed it up and made myself comfortable on the driver seat.

"So, let's go!!!!" he said as he gripped his hand tightly on the steering wheel and as he did this he started the engine and started reversing the jeep.

As he had reversed the jeep; he started driving straight towards his friends place. All the way down to his friends place, we were staring at each other and smiling.

As we reached his friends place we drove in the huge gate.

"Drop me in that driving way" I said as I pointed towards the driving way.

"Why? You don't like my company?" he asked as a "What the hell/ fuck?!" Look cross his face.

"No! No! No! It's not the cause. The thing is that you need to park this jeep and give back the keys; and then you know we will go back in your car" I said as I explained my point.

"Oh! Now...now I totally get what you are saying" he said as he gave a sign of relief.

And as he did so, he pulled over the drive way and stopped before he drove any further; before he could say anything I got off the jeep and stood on the drive way innocently.

He drove straight towards the house and then parked the jeep at the exact place from where he took it. He then ran and made his way towards the front door and as he reached there he rang the bell and as soon as he rang the bell, his weird mustache friend answered the door and with the smile; Derin returned him the keys.
