In a massive villa, the peaceful sound of water splashing into each other made from the huge fountain in the center of the driveway filled up the air outside. Inside the villa, all rooms are fairly decorated with luxurious, modern items.
All of the beds that are owned by the master of the villa are king-sized beds with the best quality mattress there is in L City. A villa ruled by one powerful master who has over 10 servants working for him.
The only room in the villa that no one dared to go in without permission was on the third floor, the very last floor there is in the villa. The biggest room out of all bedrooms, with the most expensive and high quality stuff stored in glass cabinets. Trophies, certificates and awards are stored on shelves inside a ceiling-to-floor high cabinet.
A man staring at his own reflection in a life-size mirror that was placed against an antique wallpaper inside his modern bathroom.
He was wearing a navy-blue dress shirt with the top three buttons unbuttoned and still had on his black business pants since he had just gotten back from work and was removing the clothes that made him feel quite uncomfortable.
His hair was cut into a korean style haircut. His hair was shaved off at the back, leaving short brown hairs standing and left about a middle finger long of his hair on top of his head. The front hair was parted away from each other like a curtain and had a bit of waves to it, making him stand out and looked handsome. His sleeves were rolled up and ended just below his elbow, giving him a look of a playboy.
His face always held the frosty and serious looks. Whenever he enters a room, his cold aura mixes in with the air and sends the people in the room a message to not dare to mess with him.
Once he was done checking himself out in the mirror, he walked over to the sink and turned on the tap while rubbing his hands together with soap and allowing the cool liquid to spread all over his hands. He turned the tap off and grabbed the white towel off of its hook and started drying his hands with it.
When he finished with the towel, he held it tight in one of his hands as he walked at a normal pace towards the bathroom sliding door. A basket full of unwashed clothes was put beside the sliding door on the right side, he threw the towel in the basket and exited the bathroom.
His coat and tie was carelessly thrown onto the huge king-sized bed when he had first entered this room, he looked at his bed and found his phone continuously ringing. He picked up his phone and answered the call.
"Brother! I think he's cheating on me." a woman's sobbing voice was heard over the phone. Hearing his little sister crying, he clenched his fists at the sound of how broken his sister's voice is. He held in his anger and replied back.
"Where are you now?" he asked, concerned about where his little sister is. Sniffles were heard on the other side of the phone.
"I'm still at home. We- We had an argument and- and he got angry. He broke the vase and l-left." she explained in bits as the tears that kept falling out were wiped away with the tissue in her hand.
"Brother! I-I think he's going out to see another g-girl." His fists tightened when he heard his sister's story, his knuckles were now white and the look on his face looked like he wanted to strangle the closest person next to him.
"Don't worry, Meena. I'll send one of my people to follow him and I'll get back to you soon." he spoke with reassurance and hoped for her to calm down. When he heard no response and the phone became quiet. He begins to worry in case his sister was in trouble.
"Meena? Meena?" he shouted her name through the phone.
"No need, brother. I think I can see his car still parked outside the gates, I'll follow him instead. I won't take up your time anymore." she said, her tone was cold like she had just woken up and became a different person in a few seconds.
"Wait! Meena-" the phone became silent for a few seconds then it beeped, indicating that Meena had hung up on him.
'What are you thinking, Meena? I just hope you don't do anything crazy.' The thought of her going crazy made him distressed.
He quickly made a move to dial his assistant's number and ordered him to find the location of where Meena's husband might be. He walked back and forth impatiently, waiting to receive a text message from his assistant. When he heard a ding, he went to his messages and found a map sent by his assistant.
He headed out of the villa and drove out of the driveway entering the road as he followed the map to his destination, his feet pressed hard onto the pedals and sped past every car that was in front of him. He got his assistant to follow Meena, watching her every move and making sure that she doesn't do anything to harm others. He doesn't want his innocent sister to fly into rage and tries to kill others.
Meanwhile, the bright light of the moon shone on Nissan as she sat down by the pond. She stared at the pink lotus, floating peacefully without anything bothering it on the water. The charity party had indeed started an hour ago, there was an auction on very detailed and talented looking canvases on the walls for a good price of money.
Nissan was in her light-blue denim jeans and had a white-knitted, v-neck sweater on. Since it wasn't one of those fancy and formal parties, she didn't have to wear dresses. While she found that it was much nicer attending a charity party, it wasn't her first time going to one and she hopes that it won't be her last time too.
"Hanging out at the back of the charity seems boring, don't you think?" a familiar voice came from behind her. She suddenly felt that the atmosphere around her became less peaceful and so, she turned to face the culprit.
"What? Did I say something wrong?" he asked, confused as to why Nissan gave him a look of displeasure.
She looked down and lost the mood to hang outside, she got up from the grass and started walking to the door where Danny had come out from.
"Wait. Nissan, Where are you going?" he grabbed Nissan's wrist when she passed him. She stopped walking and tried to get her wrist out of his grip, but he held her wrist tight.
She turned to express her annoyance, but before a word could be heard. Her phone started ringing from the pockets of her denim jeans, it kept buzzing while Danny stared at Nissan before deciding to let go of her wrist and let her answer her phone. Nissan pulled out her phone from inside her pockets and brought up her other hand to swipe the green button.
"Hello?" she spoke, her voice sounded bored and exhausted.
"She won't divorce me!" a voice shouted at her through the phone. Even though the voice didn't greet her or mentioned whose name was speaking, she knew exactly who it was.
"What! Even with the evidence clearly shown, she still wouldn't divorce?" Nissan said, feeling disappointed that her hard work of secretly following her clients wife to capture pictures of his wife cheating was no use.
"She said that she wasn't cheating and the guy in the picture was just her colleague. I want to divorce her, I feel that she is lying and is unfaithful to me. Your pictures were no good evidence, I really wasted my time and money on hiring you." he shouted. Nissan felt a surge of rage rising up from the bottom of her heart.
"I assure you that the evidence was real. Colleagues don't kiss each other like that nor do they hug each other while dipping their faces into each other's neck." Nissan said sincerely.
While she was trying to explain to her client, she glanced up at Danny who was watching and eavesdropping on her conversation. She felt even more annoyed and furious so she asked to meet her client and found out his whereabouts. She hung up on the phone and quickly made her way into the building with Danny following behind her.
"Nissan! Nissan!" he shouted as he tried to catch up with her who was already at the main entrance of the charity. She quickly put on her white converse sneakers.
"Nissan, where are you going?" he asked.
"Danny, if Dad asks where I am. Tell him that I have gone out to meet someone and I'll be back home in a few hours." she said in a hurry.
As soon as she finished tying up her laces, she raced to her car and pulled out a black bag full of black clothing and masks. She held the bag in her hand and walked up to the road while waving her hand out to catch the taxi's attention, she hopped inside the taxi and gave the location to him. Danny watched as she left him.
He scratched the back of his head as he thought of what name he was going to say if Mr Twist asked for the name of the "someone" that Nissan is meeting...
