"Dead?" He finished off for her with a raise of his brow, a dark chuckle escaping his lips.
With a flick of his hand towards her, the gun in her hand disappeared into thin air, startling the hell out of her.
Scooting back in shock, she bit back a scream.
What in the name of juju was that!?
Trying to be brave, she struggled to glare up at him only to find his back to her.
"Gag her." He ordered in a cold voice she could only associate with his person.
In a blink of an eye, a sexy looking terrorist with piercings jumped into her line of sight, almost startling her out of her skin.
"What do you think you are doing?" She hissed at the enemy's back.
"Gagging you." The sexy terrorist responded with a lopsided mockery of a smile, his gold tooth glinting while she sneered at him.
"You can't do that to me! Get out of my way!" She shot out her hand and pushed at him before jumping to her feet and stomping her way towards him.
Her angry steps faltered when she saw a raise of his hand in the air and a swoosh of a flying fist at the base of her neck.
She would have been knocked down just now if he hadn't stopped it. Where did all her intense training go? How could she not feel the attack coming?
She felt goosebumps line her skin but she hardened her facial features before speaking with the courage she currently didn't feel.
"I don't know what magical powers you have but you will get me back to my people this instant!"
He whirled on her, all forms of amusement gone from his eyes.
"Really?" He snapped, clearly irritated by her stubbornness.
Gritting her teeth at him, she responded. "Yes. I am a high ranking member of the special force and you have no rights to kidnap me against..."
"I have every right!" He barked, suddenly right in front of her, forcing a hiccup to escape her lips as she looked up at him, her wide eyes rapidly blinking.
She wasn't sure she could get used to this strange show of magic.
"You are my mate!"
"I am nobody's mate...you psychopath!" She jabbed at his chest, her eyes wide with growing anger.
Someone hiccuped in the background but she was too busy getting angry to notice the silent commotion behind her.
"Are you some sort of animal going on about mating? And what the hell did you do to me with your occultic magic!?" She hissed, her eyes almost spitting fire at him.
"You lost the privilege to question me after pulling the trigger on me." He said calmly with a deadly undertone, his nose flaring.
"And you have no right to claim me."
"Oh I do!" He grabbed her hand and pressed it onto his chest.
Her throat ran dry as her startled heart started thumping loudly with the flow of weird tingles spreading through her body.
Her eyes brimmed with tears at how much she hated the way she felt about this enemy the moment he touched her.
She suddenly couldn't find the energy to hate on him as she whispered. "Why me?"
"You have lost the privilege to question me." He responded coldly with his eyes running through the contours of her face.
"Do you feel it?" He asked instead, his hand snaking around her waist as he pulled her closer to him.
Someone coughed in the background this time but she felt trapped in his intense green gaze that she couldn't even turn her head to see who was behind her.
"The moon goddess must surely hate me." He snickered, before leaning his head in to press his nose against the side of her head.
She found herself leaning in to him and hating herself for doing so.
"How on earth could she give me a human mate after all these years of waiting for my other half?"
After a few seconds, he withdrew, a conflicting emotion on his face.
"I... I don't know whatever gibberish you are spewing...all...all I want is for you to end this! End it!" She wished to scream but it came out a choked whisper instead with her eyes wide and looking into his.
He shook his head. "I can't."
Then he let go of her gently.
Gently; a gesture she would never expect from a brutal terrorist.
"I have waited my entire life for you." He said, his eyes pinned on hers before looking at the rocky ground.
"I don't care what you are anymore. All you have to do is to accept the mate bond and love me."
She opened my mouth to protest but her words got stuck to her throat.
"You cannot leave." His eyes snapped up to meet hers and this time they were a black pair and no longer green causing a chill to run down her spine.
"You are mine now and will accept me as yours."
"Your...your eyes...what happened to your eyes?" She stuttered, feeling the air being knocked out of her lungs.
It was then the panic she was trained half of her life not to feel suddenly knocked into her, almost crippling her as she looked around for an escape route.
For the first time since she opened her eyes in the new environment did she observe the surroundings around them.
They were somewhere on the border of her country and the endless forest.
How did they get here? What did he do?
She didn't have the time to ponder on the questions as she suddenly turned on her heels to run in search of a way out only to pause at the ten dozens of eyes staring back at her with conflicting emotions.
"Where do you think you are going, mate?" His voice made her heart quiver.
She needed to find a way to go back to base... a way to talk of her new findings about the popular terrorist...a way to make them believe he wasn't just any human.
"You can't leave us." He barked and at that, she suddenly tumbled, her knees meeting the stony ground.
