Plot: Jonathan Blackwell is the Male lead and love interest of Marley Brown and they meet on a rainy day, heading to a meeting In a hurry and Marley bumps into him accidentally. Once at the meeting after the hallway incident, Marley sat seated at the large table, Soon Jonathan walked in and joined them and the whole meeting was tense for her. During the meeting, Jonathan fires his assistant and then promotes Marley on the spot, that day Marley and Jonathan's story starts unknown to them. One day at a gala party Marley Meets Jake Wells Ceo of another company, He ran Green Mountain Enterprises and was the enemy and rival of Jonathan. Marley not knowing their rival or hate for the other believes Jake is a good guy. After the party Jake and Marley talk as friends and he uses her to get at Jonathan and to destroy his company. Jonathan learns about their friendship and begins to not trust Marley but keeps her around, lying to himself about his affection and love for that woman. Hopefully keeping her around could help him back at Jake and finally knock him and his company off the map. Marley learns of both of their real Intentions and becomes upset and hurt, she ends up not going to work to avoid Jonathan as she ignored Jake's calls as well. Surrounding herself with her family and enjoying a small vacation, her world is turned upside down as she starts to get threatening phone calls and texts from an unknown number. Marley becomes scared and Paranoid and seeks help from Jonathan who she has been ignoring. Jonathan breaks a little and decides to help her and she goes and stays with him. The two talk and learn about each other through the days, and Marley begins to slowly understand Jonathan and care for him. Marley Brown a 25-year-old woman has been working for her company for about three years, and she never once encountered the CEO her boss himself, and Jonathan until recently. She's worked hard to provide for her family which consists of her mom and dad and little sister. After Marley encounters Jonathan her world gets turned upside down for the better and worse, she ends up getting promoted to his secretary and begins falling for the man the more she's around him. All the while Jonathan's cold and blank exterior begins to crack slowly as he's around Marley. Anytime they touch it is like shock waves go through them, Jonathan tries to ignore these feelings and emotions but ends up failing. While all of this is happening Jonathan is running his company as best he can, while Jake is trying to sabotage His company any chance he gets. Jake is doing anything he can to have his company on top and even if that means he has to get his hands dirty, he finds out about Marley and what she means to Jonathan and decides to go after her to get at Jonathan. Jonathan becomes enraged at Jake for trying to hurt Marley and gets back at Jake by going after him and his company. Marley ends up being fired for her safety and Jonathan keeps her away, but this doesn't stop Marley and she keeps coming back to him. Marley's family begins to worry for her as they become upset with Jonathan and blame him for her being hurt. The two men end up meeting at a party as Jonathan and Jake end up in a confrontation, and fight each other as Jonathan beats him and leaves. After Leaving Jake behind Jonathan is soon arrested by the police, Jake is then taken to the hospital and pressed charges against Jonathan and seeing him. Jonathan is held in jail for a while until his court day, Meanwhile Marley is worrying about Jonathan and the whole situation. When the court day comes she is there supporting Jonathan as he and his company are under fire, The trial goes on for a whole week and Marley tries to help, She goes and breaks into Jake's home and finds some incriminating evidence that could help. Marley gets the evidence to the lawyer Jonathan and the police, finally, court day comes and Marley holds her breath as the judge gives his verdict. Jake Up is found guilty of stalking and threatening Marley, also attempted fraud and assault, and is given twenty years in prison. Jonathan is free of his charges but had to do a couple of weeks of house arrest. Marley was happy and jumped for joy along with everyone else in the court on Jonathan's side. A week after the trial Marley stayed around Jonathan as they held conversations with each other. Once coming to the final realization that they love each other Marley and Jonathan share a passionate kiss. Marley faces troubles and problems alongside Jonathan but they don't let anything break them apart as they get through it together. Jake ends up in prison and his company is bankrupted after a court trial. Marley and Jonathan end up getting their happily ever after. A few years later she ends up getting married to Jonathan and they have a baby together, they were happy and in love, as she has become the light of Jonathan's life finally cracking his tough exterior and changing him for the bet
