"I shouldn't be here"

That was the only thought bouncing back and forth in Hailey's mind as she got out of the cab, stepping on the snow right in front of the ruthless devil clan.

It's a silent February night, but the silence is damn scary in this part of the city; the snowflakes are making a whimsical show as they pour out of the gloomy sky.

She adjusted her pocket knives, making sure they were intact. She was wearing a black body hug jumpsuit, her naturally blonde hair was dyed black and packed into a ponytail, and she was wearing a male boot.

She took another look at the gate and gulped again, she knew she was not supposed to be here but she couldn't ignore the cool cash sitting right in front of her, she shouldn't be scared right now cause she knew there was a party going on away from the main house but she couldn't ignore the dreadful feeling. The gate is imposing,11-foot high, crafted from clad iron, and adorned with the clan insignia.

She was not sure of what to expect but the fact that it is already giving her chills without entering is already scary. Any normal human being would have turned back, but she is far from normal; she has witnessed so much goriness and horror in her life that she is ready for whatever is coming.

She took five firm steps to the gate, skillfully grabbed the bars of the iron gate, lifted her body from the ground, and clung to it like it was her second skin, she made sure to avoid the scanning machine to avoid alerting them when she got to the tip of the gate she jumped down landing into the devil den, moving quietly in the dark hallways, she was able to identify the rooms since she got access to the house plan from the person who hired her making her wonder who the hell is the person, she was curious but she need to focus first. After walking a few more steps, she stood gallantly in front of the manor. The light surrounding the manor was currently on, but the one inside was off. The light is red, both the LED and the gothic chandeliers giving it a bloody shade.

She didn't expect less from the famous Devil clan

She brought out the door hacker since the door lock was code and Iris scanner, it didn't take less than 10 mins she got access into the room, she didn't want to waste any more time since she was getting an eerie feeling, she brought out a pen touch and started searching for the document she was looking for, after few minutes of searching the desks she still couldn't find anything, she frowned her face in confusion the employer clearly stated it that it will be here.

There are many documents, and she immediately started checking them one by one

It only took about five minutes since she's fast.

There's no document related to what her employer mentioned here, so she started opening the drawers one by one scrutinizing everything till the last one.

Still no documents

She shifted to the other side of the desk and started checking there too, she started to spend time more than what she calculated but she wasn't going to give up until she finds it, she got to the last drawer but it was locked with a passcode.

Immediately, her finger made contact with the loc, and a loud alarm sounded in the manor, ringing throughout the compound.
