"Here let's drink to our heart fill" Lucian said as he poured drink for his two accomplices Mara and Evelyn.

"Yes, congratulations to us for job well accomplished!" Mara exclaimed guzzling the alcohol as if it were water.

was the first to exclaim as guggle down the alcohol as if it was water.

"I wish we could hang out like this together everyday but....." Evelyn's voice trailed off.

Mara slammed her cup down with an exhausted sigh, "But I have my imbecile husband at home waiting" she completed it for her friend

After drowning his own cup in one gulp, Lucian finally joined the conversation, "I still find it hard to believe that you are married Mara" Lucian refiled his cup again, "Your stepmother is really a queen of exploitation, she deserves an award for that"

"Exactly!" Evelyn seconded.

As the three friends drank together, y their friendship had been bounded right from when they were ten.

Evelyn and Lucian are the two best friends and ride- or -die that supported her in this world that no one supports her. Even though she comes from a rich family, her appearance and lifestyle tells a different story as Mara has nothing befitting of a rich family daughter.

Suddenly, Mara gasped with horror as she checked her wristwatch, "Guys it's 6:30pm!! by 7, My husband will be back home!!" Then got up to her feet.

Mara quickly adjusted the joker clown outfit and retouched her clown make up that will conceal her identity.

The three friends had made a pact since the start of the hustling- make money and relocate to another country. Despite being married, Mara never make the mistake of taking any money from Ethan Lewiston, the man she was married as hee marriage to him is just arranged to avoid some things.

Her family had literally cast her out like stain, she wasn't an option for them. They git her married to Ethan Lewiston (.....) ago in an exchange for bussiness deals with the Lewiston family.

For this reason, she was never acknowledged as they thought she's now with a billionaire, little did they know that the relationship between them is less than housemates who doesn't know about each other.

The three friends scraped together and living through off jobs and street hustles, doing whatever it is to make money.

From his car, Ethan Lewiston finally looked up from the files he was reading and stretched his hands only to catch a glance of the three grown ups drinking.

He growled angrily, but ignored them to continue his work when his driver chimed in, "Why will teens from a responsible home dress like that and be drinking by this hour? They're so shameless

"Not everyone has opportunity for glamorous and rich family" Ethan said without looking up from the files.

The driver looked up again, "The body shape of one of them somehow reminded me our Young Madam" the driver observed.

At the mention of Young Madam, Ethan looked up and saw the lady of middle age and a body shape just like his obedient little wife at home.

He scoffed, there's nothing that can ever make him believe that his wife could he in such place. "My wife will be at home; don't you ever spit such things In your mouth"

"Sorry Sir"

Minutes later, the Range River stopped at the car pack near the bar. He'd came to inspect the area for some construction of another brach office his company wanted to have in the suburbs.

The driver was the first to alight the car before coming to open the door for the man who also stepped out. "Young Master, I'll ask around for any tour guide"

"Okay"

Ethan Lewiston waited until his secretary came back that he'd found the people that are willing to be the tour guide into the suburbs.

Alas, he came to meet Mara's group but Mara wasn't around when Ethan and his secretary walked over.

"Are you the tour guides?" Ethan Lewiston questioned with a raised eyebrows.

Lucian quickly stood up and bowed, "Hello, were the ones"

Mara was coming back when she is sighted the man standing there to be her husband. Her chest thumped fearfully and her breathing became erratic.

This is Ethan Lewiston!! Her husband is here!!

She quickly retouched her makeup in a way Ethan will never catch her and walked over, "We're not going to be your tour guide" she said to Ethan and his secretary.

Lucian looked at her questioningly, "What are you saying?"

Ethan Lewiston glance at the woman talking to him but as much as he wanted to accept that this was his wife, the more his mind keeps refusing to accept it.

'This can never be Mara. She's the most obedient wife I have ever seen' he keeps reassuring himself while the woman standing before him was looking at him directly but his wife can never do that.

"Hey Mar....." Evelyn was about to say but the latter rushed to her side and blocked her mouth and cut her words off leaving Ethan more perplexed.

Ethan's secretary shot forward, "Will you pay 5k for the tour?"

"We'll pay 10k" the secretary bargained.

Still yet, Mara refused, she glanced at her friends, "I will have accept this and that's final!"

That being said, Ethan was left speechless.

Mara didn't say anything more, but took her friends arms and left the restaurant.
