Chapter 1 Nina's POV

It has been a hectic month. The past few have been bad but it seems to get worse everyday. Living with depression and anxiety is hell, but then mix that with a toxic work environment and say goodbye to having the will to live.

Yep, that is my life and today I decided to quit my job because nobody understands. I don't even have a solid plan of what is next from here, all I know is I cannot continue to kill myself everyday at that call centre. Toxic environments, I leave, if there are no signs of change whatsoever.

Week 1 of being unemployed doesn't feel so bad. I have the most priceless thing, peace of mind and I have already started feeling like I'm not so worthless like 3 days ago, it was worth quitting that job and lying in bed for a whole week doing absolutely nothing, stuffing myself with food, ignoring phone calls and just trying to come back from the living dead, lol.

Today(as week 2 begins), is spent looking at job opportunities,but there is something that has been on my mind, going to work in the UK, unfortunately I cannot afford all the expenses but it is something. The hard pound would be worth it compared to the peanuts here in Botswana that I normally earn with the jobs that I qualify for. So that's what I would opt for if I could afford to go but for now I'll have to stick with looking for a job that does not cost me my peace and life because bills need to be paid. Welcome to my life.
