About

Betrayed, humiliated, and cast aside-Selena Hart once believed in love, but that trust shattered the moment Kael Grayson, the ruthless billionaire she adored, accused her of infidelity and left her broken. Manipulated by her closest friend, Kathryn, and blinded by rage, Kingsley destroyed everything they had... leaving Selena to pick up the pieces alone.

Chapter 1 I want her gone permanently

Selena's POV

"Why can't you just bloody believe me, Kingsley?" I cried, my voice trembling as tears streamed down my cheeks. My heart pounded against my ribcage, frantic and desperate, but Kingsley's face remained a storm of fury.

He stood in front of me like a wall of stone, eyes blazing with betrayal. I reached out for him, praying that just one touch could melt the ice in his gaze, but he recoiled as if my hand carried a disease.

"Don't touch me, Selena," he snarled, his voice low and venomous. "You're disgusting. You think you can lie your way out of this? Out of what I saw with my own eyes? You... you bloody liar!"

My chest tightened. I was losing him. "Kingsley, I swear to you, I don't remember what happened. I would never do that to you. Please, just believe me. The baby growing inside me... it's yours. I don't know how Silas ended up there, but I didn't do what you think I did."

He laughed-cold, bitter, unrecognizable. "You expect me to believe you don't remember anything from that night? Do you know what it felt like, Selena? Walking in and finding him in our bed? Seeing Kathryn's face twist into mockery while you scrambled for words?"

"No," I whispered, clutching my stomach. "It wasn't like that. I don't know how it happened. Someone must've-"

"Save it," he spat, his voice like shards of broken glass. "I'm tired of your pathetic excuses."

I tried again, placing his hand gently over my stomach. "This is our baby, Kingsley. Please don't punish our child for something I didn't do. I would never betray you. Please believe me."

But he snatched his hand away as though burned. "I don't want anything to do with you or that thing inside you."

My knees buckled. I dropped to the floor, sobbing. The ache in my chest deepened, turning sharp as his next words sliced through the air like a knife.

"I, Kingsley Grayson, hereby end everything between us, Selena Hart. Don't ever come near me again."

My breath hitched. For a moment, everything inside me stilled. The life I had built with Kingsley-every touch, every whispered promise, every fight we had faced together-shattered with those words. I couldn't breathe. The pain was unbearable.

"No... Kingsley, don't do this. Please, I need you."

But he was unmoved. "You're no longer welcome here. If you're still here when I return, I'll have security throw you out."

I looked up, stunned. "How can you be this cruel?" I choked. "Do you not care about me at all? Do you honestly believe I would betray you, just like that?"

"Why wouldn't I? I've seen you countless times with him. Even when o told you I wasn't comfortable with it seeing that he's my rival yet you still meet up with him."

"And I told you severally that those were chsnced meetings. I have never met up with him on purpose. It's like someone is orchestrating the meeting. I swear to you Kingsley, I didn't do anything with him. I wouldn't do that to you."

He paused by the doorway, his jaw tight. For a brief moment, something flickered in his eyes-pain, hesitation, maybe even love-but it vanished as quickly as it appeared.

Kingsley turned back to me with a smirk of disdain. "Don't ever call that child mine again. You're nothing but a mistake I should've corrected long ago."

And with that, he was gone.

---

The room was silent except for my quiet sobs. My thoughts raced back to that night. I had woken up in Kingsley's penthouse, disoriented, the scent of foreign cologne lingering in the sheets. And next to me, Silas. His arms were still tangled in the blankets, his breathing soft and even, as though nothing had happened.

Standing by the door, Kathryn-my best friend, or so I thought-had a satisfied smile on her lips. And Kingsley's face had been a mask of shattered trust.

I had no memory of how I got there. No memory of what happened. Just darkness-and now, devastation.

But even as I wept, unaware of the world beyond these walls, something far more sinister was unraveling just beneath the surface.

---

Not far from the Grayson Tower, two figures met in the shadows of a private club. One wore a long, hooded coat that shielded her face; the other stood poised, radiating silent satisfaction.

"It's done," the hooded woman murmured. Her voice was hollow, expressionless.

The other woman-Kathryn, Selena's trusted friend-smiled faintly, her eyes glinting with triumph. "Good. She won't be a problem anymore. But we'll have make sure that's she's gone permanently. You know what to do."

The cloaked figure nodded. "But where do I bring her to. And now do o get her out of the house without anyone....

"Are you asking me to do your job for you? Why do I pay you so much if I still have to help you think."

"It's just that it'll be easier for you to lure her out since you're her best friend and....

"I'm not here to make your job easier for you. Do what you have to do and I want her gone by tomorrow. Permanently " She said and walked away.
