Chapter 4 Wrong Person

An hour earlier, before Angela and Zora entered the VIP 1 Section. The bartender heard his phone vibrate. Seeing the caller, he exited the bar into the backroom to answer the call.

"Hello," the bartender said, once he was alone inside the backroom of the bar.

"I just got an alert that the target is in the club. She is heading towards the VIP 1 section with her friend as we speak," said the caller.

"How do I identify her?" the bartender asked.

"She will be the only girl in a black dress in the VIP section," the caller replied.

"Noted," the bartender replied and returned to the bar to continue serving the customers.

His eyes hungrily scanned the people in the section but there was no lady in a black dress anywhere. After an hour, two ladies walked in, Angela and Zora. Angela was wearing a black cocktail dress and Zora was in a dark blue close-fitting straight dress whose length was just up to her thigh. The two were approached by a man who walked them to the bar. The man bought a drink for the two ladies and left with one to the dance floor leaving the lady in the black dress at the bar.

Upon seeing, Angela walk in wearing the black dress, the bartender spiked the drink before serving it to her. Angela, unaware her drink had been spike just continued to drink it. She started feeling like using the washroom. She tapped on the counter and the bartender approached her.

"Where can I find the washroom?" Angela asked.

"Go down this way. Open the door and walk into the hallway. First door to your left," the bartender replied and Angela acknowledged.

She emptied her glass of drink recalling what Zora had told her before heading in the direction, the bartender had shown her. A smile crept up the bartender's face as he watched Angela walk in the direction he had shown her. He quickly sent a message on his phone to someone.

Angela pushed the door open and found herself in a hallway. She closed the door behind her and started walking down the hallway looking for the door the bartender had mentioned. She spotted something she assumed to be a door and hurried her steps towards it but she was grabbed from behind and a cloth was used to cover her mouth and nose immediately. She struggled a little and passed out.

"Fuck, she is not the one," said one of the men after taking the mask off Angela.

"So what do we do?" asked the other man.

"She is already drugged. Let's put the mask back on her and send her to the boss like that. She pretty, the boss would like her, " the man replied after thinking for a while.

"Okay," replied the other guy and he put the mask back on Angela's face.

"And what do you think you are doing in my club?" came the voice of a man standing at the other end of the hallway.

The men laid Angela on the floor and pulled out knives to fight the man. The man rolled up his sleeves and beat the two guys to pop.

"Now get out of my club. The next time I see you here, I will not be so merciful," the man threatened and the two men, run out of the place.

He pulled out his phone and made a call to someone.

"The two men who just exited the club, follow them and find out who is behind this dirty deals in my club," he said and ended the call.

The man walked towards Angela who was lying on the floor motionless. Her dress was not long, so she was exposed, with the way she was lying on the floor. The man bent down and scooped Angela into his arms. He used another exit and was soon standing in front of a door after a couple of walks. He pushed the door opened and strode in carrying Angela in his arms.

The room was one big space with a living room set up on one side and a bed occupying the other side. The living room set-up had a dining place right behind it.

The man laid Angela on the bed and walked into the bathroom. He returned with some water. He sprinkled it on Angela's face but she didn't wake up. He had already suspected the use of a chemical on her. He pulled the mask off her face and he frowned.

"Angela," he whispered her name. "What did those guys want with you?" he whispered on his lips and covered her with the blanket to keep her warm.

He walked towards the dining table and poured himself a glass of water. He emptied the whole glass and poured himself another and also emptied it. He walked towards the couch and sat down but started feeling hot after a few minutes. He took off his jacket and stood to his feet.

At that moment, the drug which made Angela unconscious had worn off. Angela opened her eyes. She dragged herself up sitting on the bed. She scanned her environment but her vision was blurry. She rubbed her chest as she was also feeling hot. The man seeing Angela was awake walked up to her bed.

Angela saw a figure walking towards her but could not tell who it was. She dragged herself to the edge of the bed and stood to her feet. The man stopped right in front of her.

"How are you feeling?" the man asked and Angela rested her hand on the man's chest.

"I feel weird," Angela whispered with her head lowered.

"What?" the man said and leaned in to listen to Angela as he was taller than her, but Angela raised her head at the same time and their lips met.

The man kissed her and Angela didn't protest. She started tagging at the man's shirt instead. The man pulled away from the kiss feeling something was not right but Angela was still clinging to him. She dropped kisses on the man's neck and was all over him. The man couldn't control himself anymore and he gave in to the desire that was consuming him.

Meanwhile, outside in the hallway. A lady was walking towards the room wearing a long red coat. She got to the door and tried to open it but realized it was locked.

"What the fuck?" she cursed. "He locked the door?" she questioned with a frown.

She was about to leave when the cry of a woman travelled to her ears. She tiptoed back to the door and pressed her ears against the door trying to listen in. The cry was soon followed by a soft moan.

"Who the hell is there with him?" the woman questioned and tried to open the door again but it was still locked.

She angrily walked away, leaving the whole club entirely. Outside the club, she sat behind the wheel of her car. Angry, she hit the steering a couple of times. Her phone buzzed and she checked the caller ID. She frowned but answered it.

"Are you with him or on your way to him? I spiked his water as suggested. He should be ready for you," the caller said.

"Eva, he is there with another girl," she replied almost on the verge of tears but her anger was also evident.

"Susan, how did that happened? And which girl is he in there with?" Eva asked.

"I don't know but I heard her moan," Susan reported.

"So what are you going to do now?" Eva asked.

"I am going home. I will need another plan to get him to sleep with me. That way he will take responsibility for me. It also means we need to find out who that girl is and get rid of her so avoid the possibility of him wanting to take responsibility for her," Susan said.

"Okay. I am always there to help. You two are meant for each other and I will help make you two end up together," Eva volunteered.

"Thank you, Eva," Susan said and ended the call.

She started her car engine and was soon on the road heading back to her home.

Back in the club, Zora was now looking for Angela but she was nowhere to be found.

"Oh, dear, what am I going to tell Mr and Mrs Anderson?" Zora asked searching the crowd of people for Angela as she dialled her number.

Meanwhile, back in the room inside the club, two bodies entwined in a between rhythm while a phone screen light continues to blink inside Angela's bag.
