I couldn't control the anger I felt in my heart, how could she throw me out of the house after Jason was born, I have served as her maid for too long to be treated this way, I thought to myself, hot tears fell off my ears, and I tried to control the pain I felt, the pain of losing something precious as that

I rolled out my box from my Mistres's home in the evening breeze and on the street, I didn't know where else to go, and I just couldn't go back home to my mum, she might have a heart attack and probably die if I told her what I did for the quest of wealth, I sobbed quietly as I thought to myself, Madam Jessie, she promised to open a coffee shop for me if only I granted her wish, I didn't want to do it, but being from a poor home, with a sick mother and two siblings to take care of, I had to accept.

My breasts seem heavy and flow out milk, perhaps the innocent infant cries out and needs breastfeeding from his mother's bosom, the fear of losing a case in court fears me, I could only cry for the mistakes of my life.

A black car suddenly drives past me and halts, slowly driving backward toward me, and I ignore it

"Hey, lady, are you going my way?" I heard a voice scream from inside the car, I slightly bent to see a handsome-looking guy, perhaps in his late twenties, with short curly hair, and an Army green hoodie sweater and sports pants, with the same color as his sweater, his head covered with his hoodie

"Where are you headed?" I asked him soberly, he gazed at me and could read through my emotions

"Are you alright?" He asked me with a concerned look on his face

"Take me to hell, that's where I deserved to be" I ignored his statement, and weakly told him

"What's the hell do you mean?" He asked me and felt confused at my statement

"Lady, get in the car, if you don't mind it, it's so late and too dangerous to walk all alone at night" he added

"Why do you care?" I asked him and slowly walked past his car

"You probably wouldn't see any other vehicle by this time, let me give you a ride, I'm not a bad guy" he retorted to me

"Fine, Mr. Good guy, take me anywhere you want to go, except here," I told him

"Don't leave me here, please" I eagerly told him, as if he didn't offer to give me a ride

"Get in the car," he told me and reduced the volume of the music in his car

I put on my seatbelt and closed my eyes, at this point, I didn't care about anything else, I just needed to disappear if it would take away the memory of my past mistakes from me, I could feel his eyes on me, but I didn't let it bother me

"Would you like to tell me about what's going on?" He asked me

"Would you rather drive than talk?" I asked him as I felt pissed off

"I...I think I could be of help" he stuttered and told me

"Shut up and drive, I need your damn help" I quietly told him with my eyes closed

"Fine, anything for you my lady" he replied to me

"Hey, I'm Calvin Freddy," he told me

"Emily Robinson" I retorted to him

"Nice to meet you" he replied to me

"Thanks" I answered him, please ain't in the mood for any chit-chat" I responded to Calvin

He fired his car engine and zoomed off fast like he was in a hurry
