Chapter 7 Shareholder

"A new product is about to be launched. As I mentioned last night you will be in charge of selecting the new spokesperson. Follow up with the development department as well."

Tristan said to Katherine, he took some files from his table and handed them to Katherine before continuing, "Also, the land in the suburbs, Riven Valley is up for bid. Come up with a good proposal to win the land. You will be in charge of the development of this land after we win this land. Additionally, the company is planning to acquire an internet company. You will also be responsible for this. Look over the files I gave you they have data on the potential companies."

Wordlessly Katherine took the documents, and hesitated for a moment before voicing out, "Mr. Flynn I have previously been in charge of real estate projects. However, I have never done an acquisition before."

Hearing her, Tristan frowned and sounded displeased, "Ms. Morris are you clear about your responsibilities in this company as a director?"

"I am, however... "

"Ms. Morris, you are not only a director of the company but also a shareholder. As a shareholder, you have to familiarize yourself with all the aspects of the company. Therefore Are you still not willing?"

Slightly stunned, I nodded at him, "I am willing."

"Good! There is a first time for everything. Given your position in the company, you will be fully in charge of the publicity of the new product and you can choose the right spokesperson as you see fit. You can decide on this matter and grasp a principle. The artist you will choose cannot have any negative news or misconduct as it will hamper our brand image."

He paused for a moment then continued, "As for the acquisitions, take some time and go through the files. Read up on the companies, follow up on them, and understand their business strategy. Afterward, prepare a draft report for me. Although it is not urgent, we still have to acquaint ourselves with it swiftly."

Nodding at his words, Katherine thought, 'so much for leaving the company.'

She held the documents and prepared herself to back to her office.

Tristan straightened his clothes, turned to Katherine, and remark coldly, "Nick and Joey are waiting for us. Let's go"

Katherine was confused at first, then grunted a response, "I can't."

"What?"

"I can't join you, Mr. Thatcher, and Mr. Adler for lunch," Katherine replied in a low voice.

"Why?"

"I have plans to meet my friend Alex for lunch."

"Okay, ask him to join us." saying so Tristan trotted over to the elevators leaving Katherine completely stunned.
