Chapter 5 Flashback - Lake

'God, she smells so good.' Lake kissed her at the back of her neck, his hands went inside Avery's t-shirt and reached her breast. He squeezed her breast. Avery let out a low moan. He remove her t-shirt then unhook her bra. He then make her face him and kissed her on her lips passionately while his hands massaging her breast. "What?" Avery was stunned.

'There she is, my girl Avery.' Lake sat down on a bleacher and watched Avery practice their cheer dance. They've been dating for over 5 months now, she broked his record. All the girls that Lake dated didn't even last for a month. Avery is nothing like them. He love her.

Avery and Lake met in the party of his childhood friend. She was bubbly, innocent and naive. She have so much story to tell. Lake was disappointed when he knew that she's just 16 at that time. He was already 23. He like her but she's still too young for him.

After that party, he still can't get rid of her in his mind. He couldn't even think straight because she's all that he ever think all the time. Until he can't suppress it anymore, he get her number from his childhood friend.

He texted her and introduce himself. That's when they started texting and calling each other. He was even laughed at by his friends because he's always checking his phone and smiles everytime.

But Lake doesn't get bothered as he was happy that time whenever he's talking with her. They continue doing that for a few weeks before he asked her out and she accepted it. He started courting her. Avery was the first girl he courted. His past relationships isn't like that. Whenever a girl likes him and he likes her back, they'll have sex, and if it's good, they'll start dating.

But Avery is not like those girls he dated before. He's not after her for sex. He love her very much.

After they're done with the practice, Lake approach her. Her back was facing him. He grab her waist, "Hey sexy."

She look at him and smiled, "Baby what are you doing here?"

"I just miss my beautiful and sexy girlfriend." He smiled back at her.

"And where did you got that from?" She chuckled.

"It's true! Can't I have a kiss?"

She glance around them, "There are too many people here. It's too embarrassing!"

"Are you ashamed of me?" Lake pretends to be sad.

"What? That will never happen!"

"Then kiss me." He puckered his lips.

"Alright." She tiptoed and gave him a kiss. "There now. Is it okay now?"

"Good enough." He smiled and put his arm on her shoulder. Where do you want to eat?"

"It doesn't matter. Everywhere is fine as long as I'm with you."

He laugh at her response, "You too do know how to sweet talk sometimes." She too laugh with him.

"Lake I'll just change my clothes in the locker room."

"Okay, don't take too long."

After she's done, they go to a restaurant and eat there. After they're done eating, they walk in a park and when they got tired, they sat down on a bench. Lake get his sketchbook and pencil and started sketching Avery.

"Babe, let me see." She took his sketchbook. "Wow, this is perfect."

"You're more perfect than that drawing."

She smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you, baby. I love you." She hug him tightly.

"I love you too."

At a nightclub.

Lake was invited by his friend, Liam Sanderson, in his party at a nightclub that he owns. The nightclub is just newly open that's why he decided to have a party. Lake doesn't want to go since he knew that his friends will just tease him about Avery.

"Hi, baby. I've missed you." James Davis said sweetly to him as he approach them. His friends started laughing after that. He just smiled at them and shook his head.

"Will you b*stards stop teasing me already?"

"You're the one who should stop. Baby? Seriously?" James chuckled.

"Well, Avery is still a baby though. You're a fucking cradle snatcher, bro. Pedophile!" Liam also laugh.

"Stop it already. We never even go beyond kissing because I know she's too young for that." He then drink the glass of beer.

"What the hell? You two still haven't sex?" Xavier asked in astonishment.

Lake just nodded.

"How can your relationship last if you guys won't have sex? How months is it already? Five?"

"That's true love." Oliver said.

"Knowing Lake, I'm sure she's banging other girls." Liam said with a grin.

"No, I'm physically and emotionally faithful to Avery." Lake proudly said to them

"Damn, dude, what's happening to you? You're losing it." Xavier said.

"I think he has a bad case of love sickness."

"I know how to cure that love sickness of yours." Liam said while glancing at a part of the nightclub.

When Lake check what's Liam staring at, he saw a woman in a red dress.

"Stella?" Oliver was confused when he saw the woman.

"Isn't that the girl you slept with when we were at the beach last summer?" James asked.

"Yeah. What are planning at?" Lake frowned at Liam.

"Stella!" Liam called the woman and she look at their side instantly and wave at them.

She approach them.

"Hi, loves." She greeted them. "I missed you guys. Especially, you Lake."

Lake just smiled at her.

"So, what are you doing here?" Liam asked her.

"Oh well, a friend of mine asked me to come with her to this party because our other friend can't attend today's party. It's a waste not to attend this party. I heard this is the most classy nightclub in here. I just had to see it. I hope you don't mind that I kind of crashed in to your party."

"No, no not at all. But if it's okay, can I ask you a favor?" Liam asked her.

"What is it?"

"My friend here..." Liam grab Lake's arm. "needs you to keep him company tonight. I guess he was just too shy to ask."
