Kill the feeling!

"So this is the fourth day and nothing has happened." Raymond said to Kyle who was standing near the bookshelf going through some books.

"Sir, I didn't know you read books about dinosaurs." Kyle said.

"What? Dinosaurs really? Is that what we are talking about?"

"Sorry I don't think I was listening." Kyle said feigning ignorance.

"Kyle. Oh God! " Raymond said as he rubbed his temples.

"Okay hear me again. This is the fourth day, the fourth day after submitting our proposal and nothing has happened."

"Oh that was what you were saying." Kyle said taking a seat.

"Look sir, I told y..."

"Kyle,Kyle,oh Jesus Kyle. Do you really have to call me that? What's up with you and this 'Sir' of a thing? Can you just stop it."

"It will be hard bro, before we became this close I always called you sir and I have adapted to it but I will try to stop it since you don't like it, okay?"

"Better and be fast with it."

"Fine Raymond." Kyle said stressing his name.

"That absolutely felt weird but anyways Raymond, I told you not to get too excited about working with them, I am sure they received a lot of proposals from very big companies and I am sure they will be more than delighted with working with them. Our company is just a very small one, we are still rising and trying to make our way to the spotlight and we don't even produce more than three games in a year so why would they want to partner which such poor and baby company.?"

"Well the face that we are poor and still a baby company as you said should be they more reason why they should choose us. This is awful honestly, I hoped on this proposal,I saw this as my life changing miracle." Raymond said and sighed.

"Don't worry si... Raymond. I didn't complete the word." Kyle said as Raymond glared at him.

"Well you don't necessarily have to give up on that, we could still get picked,our proposal was fire, trust me bro, they can't afford to reject us."

"What are you even saying, are you saying we would or we would not get the contract."

"I am trying to be a supportive friend and a good employee while accepting reality at the same time."

Raymond sighed.

"Don't be like that, if this one doesn't work another one will."

"Which one ?Do you know of anyone? Just forget it Kyle."

Just as they were talking a knock on the door came and a young lady walked in.

"Good morning sir. Kyle." She said as she smiled and blushed at Kyle.

"The memo has been passed round and the meeting will hold by the scheduled time." Laura, the young lady said handing the memo over to Raymond.

"Pass around another memo and tell them the meeting has been cancelled." Raymond said.

"Is there any problem sir?"Laura asked.

"No Laura, there is no problem but there is no use holding a meeting since we don't have any purpose to hold one."

"Okay, I'll do that now." Laura said and turned to leave, winking and smiling seductively at Kyle.

"Have you been hiding things from me?" Raymond asked smiling mischievously at Kyle as Kyle laughed.

"Don't stress it bro, it's nothing."

"But I want the nothingness of the nothing."

"Okay that is the dumbest line I have ever heard, did you even attend college brother."

"No I did not, no. Nice try, you want to change the topic huh, nice try."

"Does it even matter." Kyle said as he laughed.

"Yes and why are you laughing and blushing? Wait, you like her too?"

"No. Maybe. Just a little bit. Yes."

"Wow. that's really interesting." Raymond said beaming with smiles. "Kill the feeling." His expression changing immediately.

"What? Why?"

"No office dating in the company, you read the rules brother, colleagues should not date it is unprofessional and it will not be good for the growth of the company. If you like her and she likes you and y'all want to date then one of you will have to quit and I am not letting you leave neither am I letting her leave but I see one thing leaving here and that is the feeling."

"I think you are just being jealous here."

"What, why should I be jealous?"

"Cus you don't have anybody that like you, you've never had anybody sine the past four years." Kyle said laughing.

"You know when you say it like that, ouch, but you are wrong you know, it's not as if I don't have anybody that likes me it's just that." He sighed. " I have never had anybody that likes me and I have been single for four whole years wow I should be given the award of the best single guy of the century." Raymond said and laughed.

"But honestly bro y'all should not date."

"Yeah, I wasn't even interested in dating her."

"You just said you liked her."

"Yeah, Laura is pretty, cute eyes and stuff her fashion sense is fly but I don't see an us."

"Why?"

"I don't know,I just think it wouldn't be picture perfect."

"Well good for us because I would not have taken it lightly if you guys do stuff in the office when you should probably be working."

"What do you mean by stuff?"

"You know what I mean. Stuff that people do, turn over I can't feel it from this angle, bend a little bit I think I would be better that way, hold it from the base here and think about your favourite lollipop." Raymond said and Kyle gave out a hearty laughter.

"Who thought you those words? Do you watch things you are not supposed to watch?" Kyle said as he laughed.

"No mom, I have been a good boy, I know Santa is going to grant my wish because I have been a good boy."

"Seriously is that what you say when you do it?"

"Pftt, I haven't even done it in years and somehow I..."

He was cut short by the beeping from his laptop and he turned to attend to it, his eyes widened.

"Bro, you would not believe this message I just got."

"What's that?" Kyle asked and went over to Raymond's side to have a look.
