Chapter 4 3rd chapter

Should I smile because we are friends or cry because that's all we'll ever be? After I wrote what I added. I immediately turned off the laptop in front of me. I put on the sleepers on the side of my study table before finally getting up.

I glanced at the wall clock it's already 3 in the afternoon but i'm still not eating. I shook my head before getting some lotion and applied it on my hands. I massage both my palms at the same time as I massage my fingers. That I knew I needed.

I was limping around when suddenly a man pulled me over and ran fast. My eyes widened and scared to struggle but he was too strong. "Damn! Miss don't move!"

I almost gasped especially when we turned left. I could hear the footsteps of those chasing this man. Who is this!? As I get older, this is the man I was also chasing last week. He might be a bad person! So he's chasing! My eyes widened and I immediately struggled. "L-Let me go-"

"Sshh, please don't move miss. Just make up it for now, when you mistaken me as a crew." Is that him!? But even so, I don't want any trouble.

I can't even see him but I know and I feel that he is sweaty. He held my arm tightly as his eyes widened. Seems to be wondering if the people chasing him have followed us.

Fortunately, he let go so I quickly stood up like him. But what I did not expect was- I would stumble on my own foot causing me to back away and lower my head. "Ahh!"

This man immediately grabbed my nape so he passed over my head. My head cap was removed and it fell to the floor. I directly move to his chest. I was even held on my forehead because of the hardness of his chest.

"Careful miss.." In his baritone voice, this man said that.

I was secretly swallowed before slowly retreating so our bodies parted almost together. I rubbed my forehead and looked at him. "T-Thank you-"

"H-Hope!?" My mouth fell open. From his messy and somewhat wet hair. I know him, I remember him.

"Theo!?" In shocked state I said while still pointing at him. That's right, this is Theo! He is wearing a white shirt now and you can see the sweat marks on his chest.

The two of us stared at each other, he seemed to be amazed at what had happened as I kept my heart beating fast. Calm down Hope, that's all. "Wow, I have nothing to say. Is this the sign? Damn."

My forehead furrowed before my lips narrowed as I looked at him. I took a deep breath of air as I stared into his eyes. It immediately looked at me before looking down at my lips. He smirked, all my composure and self calming was gone. "You! You took my first kiss! Asshole!"

I rubbed his eyes but he just chuckled then pinch my nose. "Adorable, so cute."

"What the heck!?" It just popped before he looked vulgarly from what I was wearing to the bangs I had on my face.

He narrowed his eyes at me before slowly approaching so I backed away. When we were only a handful away it stopped at the same time as he grinned at my reaction. He shifted his gaze to my lips again before biting his lower lip as if he was attracted to me.

"Hope.." He shook his head before bowing slightly at the same time as he picked up my cap. He patted it and removed the dirt before lifting it into the air. I was amazed at what he did but I were immediately shocked by what he did.

He stepped closer to me so that our skins were almost touching. The strength of my heartbeat, at this time I felt no fear. There was also no fear if not too much detachment especially when he gently put my cap on my head while staring into my eyes.

"I won't ask you why you're wearing that, it's good that you're like that because I'm the only one who can see you. Let's go." If before his grip on my arm was tight now it is soft and gentle.

I, on the other hand blinked before secretly inhaling what had happened. We quietly walked back, the length of my jacket exceeded it over my hand so I couldn't see my hands. I'm sure it's getting wet because of how I feel.

"Have you eaten?" He asked suddenly before releasing my arm. He faced me so I faced him as well.

I don't know what to answer, what should I do? What is he making me do and that's all he's going to say? He's very weird. "Hey, I'm asking you."

I blinked before nodding. "Really? Have you eaten yet? Then, just join me for dinner."

I just followed him until we came to a small seat but lots of tables and chairs. Many people also eat. Ramen? They look so delicious because they no longer bother to look or glance at us.

I can only say one thing, that's new. Just now no one looked at me with judgment or teasing. I breathed a sigh of relief. "Sit down.."

I sat down in front of him. "Sir! Two servings of ramen with special drinks." He just shouted as he raised his hand.

An old man motioned to Theo and he nodded. If you look at it, it looks like the price is right and the food sold here is heavy on the pocket. Even though their store is small, there are many costumers and they still seem to be visiting.

"A lot of people really come here on purpose because of their delicious ramen." I glanced at him before nodding.

"Is that so? So, their ramen here is delicious?"

"Yeah, so even crowded and too crowded is going on really. Whether rich or poor."

I nodded. I narrowed my eyes at him, he looked rich. From her earings on the left ear are already worth thousands of dollars. Also what he was wearing -The wristwatch that the brand is well known for. "You look rich."

"Really? But just the face, because I'm just poor." I was almost taken aback by what he said. Is he lying on me? I clenched my fist before pretending to agree with him.

"Is that so? Who's chasing you?" He leaned back carefully before gently laying both hands on the table.

"Hmm, my creditors..I didn't pay them that's way." Now, I'm confused. He may be right and he's telling the truth because as far as I know the men chasing him are a group of high-ranking officials here with us.

"How much did you owe it? Then it took a few more weeks? Wasn't that long ago? You even hit me."

"Haha, I'm sorry for what happened. But to answer your question... It's a secret." He winked at me before accepting the tray placed by the man he called sir.
